It is that good! Please read below for the full ingredients and instructions. Also, feel free to customize the recipe to your own taste. This is merely a guideline for a taste that we know works well, but that doesn’t exclude other slaw-combinations that have yet to be discovered. Without any further ado, it is time to start whipping up this our next favorite meal!
Ingredients:
First things first. For the main coleslaw, you will need 2 green onions (thinly sliced), 1 small carrot (thinly sliced, optional), 2 cups of red cabbage (thinly sliced), 4 cups of green cabbage (thinly sliced), and 1/2 cup of chopped cilantro.
For the Dressing, you will need 4 T of mayo, 3 T of fresh lime juice, salt (preferred amount to taste), and 1/2 teaspoon of hot sauce (we recommend our Sauce No. 10 for you hot sauce lovers).
Instructions:
Now it is time to put it all in. Get a small bowl or cup to start whisking the lime juice, hot sauce, and mayo together. It will be up to you to determine your ideal balanced taste between the hot sauce, mayo and lime juice (we can only guess how much you hot sauce lovers will throw in). Wash and dry the chopped cilantro, and then put it into a separate, large salad bowl. Add the sliced cabbage (red and green) and green onions into the salad bowl as well.
Pour the dressing into the salad bowl and use a wooden spoon to mix the dressing and the salad together. Once that is done, you just have to season the salad with the salt. The right amount of salt is entirely based on your taste preference.
