Corine’s Cuisine Sauce No. 28
1. Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a wok over high heat. Season the beef with white pepper (no salt) and stir-fry it in the oil until done, about 3-4 min.
2. Set the beef aside in a small bowl. Wipe the wok clean and heat another tbsp of oil over high heat.
3. Stir-fry the garlic, ginger, and onion for 30 seconds over high heat, then reduce to medium-high and stir in the broccoli and carrot. Add 1/4 cup of water and let it boil off. Check the broccoli for doneness. Reduce the heat to low, return the beef to the wok, and mix in 3-4 tbsp of Sauce No. 28 (to taste).
4. Toss the stir-fry until the sauce is blended in. Serve with rice.
